That particular bruise is too fresh.

I need to let it continue healing as I fully grasp the newfound knowledge.

I edited out your post to focus on two things.

He's been there for a good minute.
Be careful how you approach things. He just might have been a clutch player in some high ranking contracts.

Keep up the good work. Keep gaining respect, but humble yourself.
Your knowledge will keep you as a key player, just don't forget that you'll need to be a team player while you build tenure.

This reminds me of that guy that got himself signed up for all the safety SDS shit because he made the mistake of being a doer to make the others look good.

OP...be careful with your battles. Make sure you know who will truly go to bat for you when it comes time. 6 years is a lot of loyalty to beat. And this industry is much smaller than you think.

93LXHORSE: Dude... you're in deep shit. You were supposed to come in on Saturday. What were you doing?

Peter Gibbons: 93HorseyGuy... I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything that I thought it could be.

Not much can lure me away from where I'm at, but give me a call when that guy gets fired!
