We are gonna do the long haul this year. I think it's our 5th.

We have a bunch of cars going...54 Chevy 3100 with a Duramax, 60 Impala with a supercharged LS, 64 Ford wagon, 72 Chevelle...and I'm doing everything possible to get my 67 Continental with the TT Coyote completed. Otherwise it'll be the Viper Truck or a wagon of some sort if I can find one.

If you have the Lincoln with the TT Coyote Long Hauling I HAVE to see it.

I'm planning on going to the Round Up so I'll have to get a hold of you when I get down there. Plan is to have all my shit packed and leave straight from work Friday afternoon/evening and drive straight down.

Another suggestion....

...DO NOT wait too long to get your rooms.
Use a CC and get rooms that you can cancel if needed. I know for a fact that the rooms near Gonzales are filling up, and at the last stop in KC the prices are already going up.
If you wait too long you'll find yourself 20 miles out....

Going to try to get some miles on our little pickup before I just hop in and put that kind of a road trip on it.

I used my marriott rewards and booked marriots near each event.

Gonzales and baytown is getting pretty booked up. Austin still has availabilty.

Katrina and I are planning on making the Gonzales to okc portions at least. We'll be in our srt challenger. I did it in 04 from the ballpark to Tulsa in my mystic with no AC and I'll be damned if I ever do a road trip like that without it lmao

Our 53 is down with a blown clutch and I don't think it's gonna get fixed before lsr sadly. We had a blast when we took it down there 2 years ago
