lots and lots of nondisclosure agreements, contracts, Trusts, and a name change or two. I can say that another good first step is to delete every trace of yourself from the interwebs, email, and throw away your family's cell phones. Then go sit on a small but comfortable cruise ship for a few months while you figure it all out.

Regarding collection - Fuck Texas. They changed the rules where a party has to come forward and collect, i.e., you can't collect through an attorney or trust, etc.

With a jackpot this big, they are seriously putting the winner's family in jeopardy (provided it's a Texas winner).

Where are you finding this? I have looked and can't find any type of law that excludes blind trusts or LLC's
