I have only been to the Galaxy and it has been a fun and enjoyable the several times I have been. The food is super cheap. I sent my wife with $20.00 and she came back with a few dollars in change and a bunch of food. They have a small putt-putt course in front, the kids love to do that before the movie. They also have plenty of jump boxes (for free) if you kill your battery, which I did once. Its real dark out there so it makes watching outdoor movies nice, two first run shows per screen and the old time commercials are a joy that takes me back to when I was a kid...Originally posted by mstng86 View PostWe visit the Galaxy theater in Ennis maybe every 3 months or so. I have never had any issues with people being loud or unruly while the movie is on and the crowd looks like the normal movie going crowd IMO. I just go for the funnel cakes.
We did talk about going to the Fort Worth one next time, since it is about the same distance for us.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Agreed. I've never had any of the trouble Craig mentioned at Galaxy. The only thing I dislike about it is the trip home. Those cocksuckers in Palmer will make up reasons to pull you over and write tickets.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostI have only been to the Galaxy and it has been a fun and enjoyable the several times I have been. We have been to both multiple times each. We like Galaxy over Coyote.
Coyote is newer/nicer but I think that is one of the attractions of the Galaxy for us.
The Galaxy is a LOT cheaper with the concessions.
At the Coyote if you get one of the screens facing La Grange when the lights are on the screen is washed out. We typically take a battery powered radio but the option to use the old school speakers at the Galaxy is a plus vs Coyote not having them.
We always sit in the bed of my truck and never had any issues with loud or rowdy people at either place....

I actually like going to the Galaxy, I know the drive sucks, but once I get past I-20 I turn it up and haul ass to Collin County. Not too bad a drive about 45 minutes from theater to my crib. I can also bring my own ice chest and thats a big plus...Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
