Mexican families in my experience are the worst at accepting interracial dating. My Mom's sister is married to a Mexican and his family will not allow her to come over to their house at all, even for Christmas dinner. His daughters from a previous marriage will not talk to her either.

Also my old roommate was dating white girl and his parents sat him down and told him that they would "really like for him to find a nice Mexican girl".

I don't know what the deal is, maybe its the Catholic thing.

Hispanics are more conscious of the family structure. They take more pride in a family setting and structure and they don't want to change what they know is already a good thing.

I am half hispanic, and half white. My grandparents had 7 kids on my hispanic side. Out of those 7, 2 of them married hispanics, and the rest were white people. It just depends on the family.
