How does that make sense? It's not like the monthly bill for service went down and the new installment for the phone brings it back to where it was.Originally posted by Nash B. View Postit's not much different than before. The price of the phone was rolled into your contract and monthly bill.

It does, if you change to a non-subsidized plan.Originally posted by jluv View PostHow does that make sense? It's not like the monthly bill for service went down and the new installment for the phone brings it back to where it was.

EX: it's $20 a month cheaper for my wife and I to go on the "unlimited" plan that doesnt include phone upgrades than it is to stay on the upgrade plan with 10gigs of data."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

$189 for a used Note2 right before the Note4 came out, using Net10, no issues for almost 2 years now.Originally posted by zachary View Postdo the math, next plans are aweful! hit up ebay or amazon for mint used phones and go contract less!"We, the people, are the rightful masters of both congress and the courts - not to overthrow the constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the constitution." I thought the discount was for not being on a traditional contract/upgrade plan, so you'd still get it even with a phone you already owned.Originally posted by FastFord19 View PostMy note 5 is 29/month. I get a $25/month payment plan discount. So, it costs me $48 for my note 5 after 2 years....seems like a good deal to me.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

I like the way they set it up, too bad it is on the sprint/T-mobile network. Neither of those work lots of places I go.Originally posted by BP View PostGoogle just opened up project fi to everyone yesterday, it's probably the best deal out there assuming you don't blast through data out of wifi range.

No shit? I didn't realize that. I've got the old unlimited data plan from AT&T, so I probably wouldn't switch away from that. My total bill every month after taxes and fees is around $65, and I never have to worry about using too many minutes, texts, data, etc.
