FMV registration is for 5 years and has no inspection. Just has to be maintained in order to which the govt had them. The only thing I want to say an issue was with some of them having off road use only designation and tax office not willing to register. I've been looking for one, but all of them seem to be shit and I don't want another project. But I'm also not paying $20k for a restore.

My bad, from your question I thought you were talking about when they were extremely demilled, like cut in pieces. I've had the itch for one too, then get it wrapped with my gun logo and write that shit off haha.
