And there is no definition of what a holster is. Technically you could say it is illegal but you could also say that any real holster is not a real holster because that term is not defined. My point is no one seems to give a shit either way as long as you don't have the damn thing out waving it around. That is a great thing.Originally posted by SSMAN View PostBut the law does state it has to be in a holsterOriginally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Damn near Mexican carry. You at least have a holster, hombre?Originally posted by Broncojohnny View PostI go around with the grip of my XDM hanging out of the top of my pocket all the time. Not sure if that is open carry or not. One of the best things about this open carry law is that you don't have to worry about stupid shit like "printing" any more or having your gun hanging out.

Don't even get me started on my "printing" episode at Hooters in Plano w/PPD.Originally posted by Broncojohnny View PostOne of the best things about this open carry law is that you don't have to worry about stupid shit like "printing" any more or having your gun hanging out.
But to answer the OP's question. I have yet to see anyone carrying, anywhere and I'm always looking at everyone, kids, women, old people, infants, priests, chinks, rednecks, naynays, vatos locos, etc.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I've seen it once about a month ago while I was at Sam's Club. It a pretty serious-looking biker guy with a small Glock in kydex paddle holster. His girlfriend looked scarier.
This on the printing. I bend over/stretch/etc. now not even caring if my shirt hikes over or not.Originally posted by Broncojohnny View PostI go around with the grip of my XDM hanging out of the top of my pocket all the time. The Walmart in GP is the only place I've ever seen anyone open carry, and that was only on one occasion back by the motor oil shelves.Originally posted by Jewrrick View PostAfter reading about walmart saying they would ask people that are open carrying to show their licence, I decided that I would open carry everytime I go in and see what happens. I'm up to 12 visits for various odd and ends and I have yet to get so much as a sideways glance much less a manager or anyone else bugging me about it. But that's the only place I have done it.
