But I have a friend with a gt vert, red with red interior. It's apart, would be a project, and it's supposed to be really clean. Im considering picking it up cheap and throwing some parts I have leftover from the 69 build at it, but the interior is slowing me down.

He lost interest, it was mostly stock, and the auto went out. He bought a rebuild kit for the trans, and then some procomp heads, etc. He's willing to let it go with everything or partial, and I'm thinking about tossing the fresh gt40 headed motor I have on the stand and doing a 4r70w.

White with red interior looked good. I had a buddy that had one that he turned into a cheap bracket car for his wife. Stripped it down of all the non essential shit, cage, suspension and a nice built 347. I always like that ride.

really hard to say. The only pics he had was from when he bought it in '11. From what I understand, it's been in his shop for several years now. Interior is supposed to be pretty mint, outside straight, top in good shape, etc. Back bumper looks like it was repainted at some point and is faded, otherwise it looks good, from grainy potatophone pictures.
