I just hate that you have one candidate who is pandering to the far right, and another who is for the far left when I would say that the vast majority of citizens have ideas somewhere in the middle. Every issue has become so polarized thanks to the media that our presidential candidates now have to be portrayed as complete opposites when in reality they're both just rich, lying, pieces of shit."Any dog under 50lbs is a cat and cats are pointless." - Ron Swanson

Ive been saying that for a while. All it would take for a sweep of the election would be a candidate that is fiscally conservative and socially liberal. In theory, that's what the libertarian party is trying to do, I think.Originally posted by jdgregory84 View PostI just hate that you have one candidate who is pandering to the far right, and another who is for the far left when I would say that the vast majority of citizens have ideas somewhere in the middle. Exactly what's up. Too bad the Libertarians didn't get any TV time, it's a shame really. I honestly believe most people are Libertarian and don't really know because they are only presented two options 99% of the time.Originally posted by Baron Von Crowder View PostIve been saying that for a while. Most of my Liberal friends don't actually like Hillary, but they will stand behind "their" candidate, no matter what, to further their own agenda. That's the biggest difference between them and my Conservative friends who don't like Trump. They will simply abstain from voting, thinking that it doesn't matter anyway, and they really don't like either candidate anyway, yadda yadda yadda. The bottom line is, not voting for Trump, whether you like him or not (and I do not) is effectively casting your vote for Hillary.

No. I am not voting for either. Probably not voting in the federal elections this year. I do not buy into the lie that a vote for someone else, or no one, is a vote for hillary. That idiotic belief is how we arrived at this point.Originally posted by ceyko View PostI have to ask, does that mean you're voting for Hilary? I'm sure you said in the past, but I'm not a stalker so did not see it or don't remember.

Actually, we got in this situation by people doing exactly what you are planning on doing. Not voting. Doesn't really matter what side you're on, hell you can write in SVO if it makes you feel better, but not participating in the process earns you ZERO right to bitch about the outcome.

Actually that is incorrect. I have voted in every election I was able to since I was 18 except one or two when I was overseas. It isn't as easy to get a ballot over there as they make it seem. Anyways, I have tried, and all I see is the majority of the population always backin the bggest idiot or biggest showman. Talk to as many people as I can about the constitution and common sense and most ignore it and don't care. It is apparent that people do not care about the constitution or rule of law. I can opt to not vote knowing I can make no difference, and still bitch about the idiots you guys put into office and damage they have done. Not voting for a reason is a form of protest, and I am sure I will not like the outcome, and will bitch accordingly, knowing it falls on deaf ears.Originally posted by SonicblueGT03 View PostActually, we got in this situation by people doing exactly what you are planning on doing.
