I think those cars are the best bang for your buck right now....a buddy of mine found one in Memphis that we went and picked up recently. Deep Impact with black stripes, Recaro's, and only 14K miles for $45K.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostYou're right about that Rob, I might pull the trigger on a '12-'14 GT500, they are getting affordable and a you're a KB blower away from almost 1k HP...
I'm still thinking hard on a GT350 myself, though.70' Chevelle RagTop

Yeah, it's the mark-up (dealer or private seller) that I refuse to pay, I wouldn't expect MSRP to change. I've got a 2017 GT Premium on order already though, and the mod list ready for clicking submit, so I think that ship has sailed for me. Maybe one day I'll pick up a 2018 GT 500, probably in 2030 when I can afford one.Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostI don't think the MSRP will come down but the dealer markups may finally go away.
Crazy money for a Ford (GT aside).

Same here. Doing the math; Selling the 09/500 for max-out, pimping the wifey, slinging street tacos on the corner, selling blood, working two jobs and I'm only half way there.Originally posted by Big A View PostYeah, it's the mark-up (dealer or private seller) that I refuse to pay, I wouldn't expect MSRP to change. As a single man I would be able to afford a new one, but nowhere near comfortably enough to justify the cost, outside of living in it. When I really get to feeling poor is when I realize that, like the GT, the type of guy that'll buy these new already has one or more pricier rides in the stable.Originally posted by cobrajet69 View PostSame here. Haha, when I bought my first new Mustang I said I was going to cut cable and quit smoking to afford that big ass payment, and that car stickered around $23K!Originally posted by cobrajet69 View PostSame here. Grapevine ford will do it too. However, there are some caveats to the deal.Originally posted by fordracing19 View PostThey do them for they same price as Joe Myers at Plano Ford.

1. It's a base GT. You can get any car you want but the price will go up accordingly.
2. The warranty is provided through Roush for an additional $995.00 and it's only available on the 670hp stage 1 kit.
It's a great turn key deal for someone wanting to go fast relatively cheap. You're able to finance the entire cost of the SC with your car payment. I've been doing a lot of research on it and I am on the fence as to wheter or not to do it. I daily drive my tuned F150 ecoboost and i'm seriously leaning towards finding a used 15-16 premium and putting a Hellion kit on it.
