Decided it's time for a toy and want to get into an older 70's model Corvette. Was wondering if anyone knows of a place in the DFW area to find one. I have been looking on cars.com and ebay but would rather find something locally. Any suggestions?

Corvette warehouse is where I got my car and they were pretty good about the whole process. Salesman was knowledgable and not too pushy, I would recommend them. I don't have a PH # on me but you could look it up.Originally posted by Nash B.Damn, man. Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.

Like the body style and the price tag. If I could I would love to have an early 60's model but a little out of reach. Looking to keep it under 15000. Its going to be a weekend to the golf course and back car, thats about it.Originally posted by mardyn View PostWhy a 74 to 77?I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. Yeah, was looking at that one. Interior need a little TLC and a little concerned about the under body. I guess with it being 34 years old I shouldn't expect perfection.Originally posted by Chili View PostLooks like it needs a little work but well under your range:

My dad had a 61 and sold it when I was 17. Got to drive it a few times. Was a great car. He bought a 91 last year. A Cali special. He takes it to town and shows off tho all the Hutterite women. He's balling!Originally posted by Denny View PostI don't mind that generation, but I'd want chrome bumpers on the front and back. You looking for show quality or a driver?Originally posted by Blame Canada View PostYeah, was looking at that one. Interior need a little TLC and a little concerned about the under body. I guess with it being 34 years old I shouldn't expect perfection.
I wouldn't mind a 70's Vette as a toy as well. I would be happy with a 10 footer - driver, which is what that one appears to be.
