Call the parts dept in the Dallas Porsche store and give them your VIN they should be able to tell you what your color code is.

Which model and year? If I had a dollar for ever time I get a paint code question I could retire. It doesn't help that they put the codes in the warranty book of the newer cars. Which get lost.

I need a modern paint code for the "Glasurit 6801 Slate Grey" . I want to shoot it in a base coat/clear coat.
It's going on my 55 Chevy...
        Heres a pic...

Find the modern car on ebay and use the vin on the listing. I do that all the time.

Which more current model? The 4 digit codes are older codes. The newer ones are usually only have 3. There's a few grays that look very similar to slate gray. So if I know the modern car you've seen it on I can tell you in the morning.

Sorry I didn't see the picture earlier. The modern colors close to that are black gray (997.2 gt3rs) or agate gray non-metallic.

Its not really a current color for Porsche AND I do not want a metallic. I wanna shoot it BC/CC and not a SS.

I would think places like sherwin Williams can mix 6801 as a base/clear. My chevelle is original formula that was converted to base/clear.

I went to J&J Paints in Garland. He was unable to come up with a code to work with. Great people over there, very helpful. He suggested I print the above pic and use it with his color books. I thought I'd try to come up with something...
