Time to dig this back up. I got an update from the band a month or so ago that they were pushing Chasin’ West Texas again. It is now uploaded to several streaming sites and thankfully, has me listed as the song writer. It isn’t the big name CD jacket I’ve always hoped for, but it is something. You can hear the final cut here on Amazon Music:

The song is fantastic man, and I somewhat agree with your comments on the vocalist being a little overpowering. The first cut you posted a couple years ago I thought the lead riffs were a little strong at the end it should have faded earlier but I absolutely love the song. Best of luck with that buddy!

Thank youOriginally posted by slow84lx View PostIt has a nice old school country sound to it. I can imagine it being played in a honky tonk kinda place.
Thank you! This version is somewhat true tothe original recording from 2009. Though, they took more creative liberty than I would have liked. Definitely a learning experience for me. If any of my other stuff gets picked up in the future, I need to either retain more creative ability/input, or provide more of such!Originally posted by cobrajet69 View PostThe song is fantastic man, and I somewhat agree with your comments on the vocalist being a little overpowering.
