I think it depends. You would hope and expect it would be the last day because you could look back at a successful term(s) and be proud of what you accomplished and the direction the country is heading. On the flip side, it would have to be pretty uplifting and provide energy to know you're walking into office after the nation gave a big F-U to the other party because they want change -- and you have the House, the Senate, and even the SCOTUS on your side. I'd be pumped to get shit done.Originally posted by 1carcrazyguy View PostSo what would be the better feeling? Your first day as President or last day?

You obviously do not know the difference between a commutation and a pardon. Please read some more. (I don't like the man, just like the facts to be correct)Originally posted by homealone View PostOff by one or two

For your viewing pleasure ----- "Pardon is an "executive forgiveness of crime"; commutation is an "executive lowering of the penalty." Waldman: A "pardon wipes out the conviction while a commutation leaves the conviction intact but wipes out the punishment." ... Commutation is a form of clemency, used often by governors and sitting Presidents.

I actually disagree. Be out on open water no stupid traffic jams etc is worth the trouble. I would miss my boat but no obamaOriginally posted by bird_dog0347 View PostI'd imagine it's the same as owning a boat... first and last are the best... everything in between can be fun one minute and a total ass-whip the next.
