It's a spec house and they had already bought the paint. I tried but they weren't flexible on it.

It's OK. I've already talked to the HOA. Painting isn't going to be a big deal as long as it fits within the community, which it does.

Well it looks like we're finally gonna get this done. The appraisal was yesterday and everything went off without a hitch. The house appraised above the selling price and we close on August 18. I also just got back from Denver, yesterday, where we had the home inspection on the new home. Everything there is done with just a few minor things that need to be corrected. The worst thing we found was that there was some roof flashing and drip edging missing. No biggie.

So now begins one helluva busy week.

This weekend - packing
Monday - fly back to Denver for final walk through and home demo
Tuesday - Closing on Denton Home
Wednesday - movers come get our crap
Thursday - Pack our remaining crap in a trailer and head to Amarillo
Friday - Bye Bye Texas, I will miss you. Off to Denver
Saturday and Sunday - Breathe
Monday - Close on our new home
Tuesday - HOPEFULLY, our crap arrives, internet gets setup, new fridge delivered
Wednesday - back to work
