On a side note, I've always really wanted to do jury duty, been called up three times, been out of country every single time. Bullshit.

That is what I thought until I spent 3 days on a felony DWI/Felony Evading case. I never want to do that again, 1/2 the jury is some of the dumbest people you've ever met who are unable to comprehend how to follow sentencing guidelines set by the judge.

I wouldn't mind spending a day hearing class C trials, but I've been chosen twice for that and both times they settled the remaining cases that morning and sent us home before hearing a single one.
