  • Owls

In the neighborhood that I'm building in, we seem to be having an Owl problem. They are nesting in our frames and causing us quite a bit of headache.

Looks like they are barn owls, the one I saw today was probably 16" tall or bigger. I've got homes we need to hang drywall in, but we don't want to seal them up in the attic and have them die!

Does anyone know a falconer? Someone to come relocate these things?

Well, I was going to post a pic, but photobucket finally shut me down...

You know what you dont have? A rodent problem. We had one move into the hay loft in the barn at my childhood home, and I let him live there comfortably as long as he wanted to. Never saw another mouse.

We have a rodent problem in the neighborhood. Probably why they are wreaking havoc in 3 of my frames!

Find someone in your county and ask. You're probably pretty much screwed though. I'd look at a way to maybe smoke them out but it's illegal to capture or kill owls.

Back at O's EPA they'd seize your land as it's a nesting ground for a migratory bird.

Get a few of these and put them around the houses.

Looks like that would attract a lot more of them lol

Futurama had a big owl problem too. Damn pests were everywhere.
