No the hell we don't. McKinney residents need to realize that the busier this town gets...the more the luster will erode. Everything nice will be overcrowded, taxes will continue to skyrocket, and then it'll be just another Addison 10 years down the road.

I work for the city, kinda have a little more insight on this. There is sooo much the city needs but just simply can’t budget it. All we have is residential and dang car dealerships. Can’t rely on the square to bring in well needed funds.

They should have built that parking garage for the downtown square but instead chose to build apartments, what the fuck sense does that make? There is no where to park to spend money at the square. And don't even get me started on the new high school stadium...

Oh absolutely, I totally agree. There has been a long road of bad decisions, they wanted to be “Unique by nature”.

Well, one good thing is that the crime is very low. No traffic, easy access to Allen and Dallas down 75. No tolls and Rick's Chophouse and Hutchins BBQ.

Yup, thats the way Plano used to be and then when the economy took a dump, they were in big trouble. They sold the Chase Oaks golf course to the City of Allen to name one thing, if it wasn't for the property that they owned at 121& the DNT that they sold to Liberty Mutual and State Farm is probably the only thing that saved their ass. They also owned all the property up 121 to Alma from Spring Creek/DNT. Not sure who the hell the city council of McKinney is running but they all suck.
