you must have called my Vet. We have to take our dog with us on an airplane, and apparently you have to have a health certificate from a vet. So i called our rip off bitch of a vet and she fukn wants $110. $55 for the exam (BS since the dog was just in 2 weeks ago for her shots/exam) and $55 to sign a fukn form that says she is healthy. Needless to say, that bitch is no longer our vet, esp since i just spent $400 for shots,heartworm,etc... 2 weeks ago. everybody is just out to make a buck at somebody else's expense.Originally posted by bcoop View Post$350-900 for 10 minutes worth of work? On a dog? I've got an ice cream scooper, a razor blade, and spool of fishing line. I should set up shop in a Public Storage unit.
SPCA is $109, but they don't have any appointments open until after April 1st.2002 4.6L 5spd S281

The health certificate specifically states that the veterinarian has examined the animal within 10 days of travel and has found it to be healthy. Then they must sign that form. This is why most vets charge an exam fee. I understand why that would be upsetting however since your dog was just seen recently.Originally posted by spederman View Postyou must have called my Vet. No way a business would try to make money at your expense...that's just wrong.Originally posted by spederman View Postyou must have called my Vet. Yes, but you also went in to that knowing of the health problems of the breed. I steered clear of that shit. I just want to spay the bitch! She's my buddy, she'll get the pain meds. But she doesn't need a laser incision, blah blah blah. SPCA spays/nueters millions of pets a year and I haven't heard any horror stories. My last dog got snipped there too, with no issues.Originally posted by 8mpg View PostI dont want to hear about it being expensive.
