I quoted them to point out the foolishness of their statement because I personally have set on a jury with a preconceived notion in my head. I have preconceived notions about everything until I learn otherwise, this is not unique to a courtroom in a civil or criminal case.Originally posted by The King View PostYet you specifically quoted two individuals whose experience and opinion was the complete opposite of yours.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

My statement is purely the truth of what I believe and what I have done, nothing more and nothing less. My typical standard when on a jury is to vote for an acquittal if I catch the officer in even the tiniest white lie. If I don't think the officer is lying then I judge the facts of the case as presented. If I think the law being applied in the case at hand is unjust or stupid I will also vote for an acquittal even if the person is blatantly guilty.Originally posted by The King View PostTheir statement is not foolish, yours is.
FYI: I am also a bigot and I bring those beliefs with me to the Jury Room as well.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

I hope you're talking shit and are not really serious, if you are serious you are truly a dumb fuck. In the cases I've set on and where that policy of mine comes from is when the officer is a witness in the case and not the defendant in the case.Originally posted by The King View PostSo in this case you would vote for an acquittal since you have stated ad nauseum in this thread that the officer is lying. See how easy it is to trip you up when you’re a liar.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Exactly how often do you think police officers are the defendant in a criminal case? I'll clue you in, it hardly ever happens. It is so rare that it is not even worth mentioning so I didn't partially because I've never set on a jury where a police officer is the defendant. I'm an activist and I actively seek out being seated on a jury for my own personal reasons. Most people get pissed when called for jury duty but I get excited. Don't worry though, I've never let anyone off that is a true danger to the world based on my own assessment of them. I did give lady probation once for delivery of a controlled substance when she brought a kilo of cocaine to some undercover officers in a drug buy stashed in a box of Frosted Flakes. I laughed so hard when the officer said that's where she had the dope stashed that I fell out of my seat.Originally posted by The King View PostYou didn’t specifically state witness or defendant however, and the law is very specific. A courtroom lawyer could obviously befuddle you rather easily. I just did.
In the future if I'm on a jury for a gun charge I doubt I would convict the person unless they had gold teeth. See what I mean about being a bigot?Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

You like being wrong, don't you? Too dense to recognize a figure of speech? I don't even know why I've asked those questions, I already know the answers.Originally posted by AnthonyS View PostBerniebro rage much? Democratic socialist says what?
P.S. you’re reading this not hearing it. We all know you’re not very bright, stop making it so obvious.

I don’t like or dislike you. I don’t really know you and vice versa. I do however disagree with most things you post here. I know figures of speech, but technically you’re the one who is wrong about hearing, and then you call me shitforbrains. Irony kicks your ass again.Originally posted by racrguy View PostYou like being wrong, don't you? Too dense to recognize a figure of speech? So if you want to convince anyone how smart you are, don’t let irony stomp your ass into the mud for a 3rd time as an encore. Gonna go for a 4th time as a curtain call?

Even more irony! hahaOriginally posted by racrguy View PostI don't wanna hear a goddamn thing from you, shitforbrains.
You're an irony machine
Well basically, yes. Mistaken or no, she made the decision to shoot. She was in the wrong job all along, and was never fit to be a police officer. She didn't have what it takes, they need to be made of better stuff. Think what would have happened it this idiot had encountered this situation, before she ever stepped foot in a police station. I'm sure bust in and start shooting, wouldn't have been the first thought. It may have even been, to check the fucking door number out of some sense of confusion and "wtf" ness.Originally posted by Jose View PostSo she went in there, saw the guy, and thought I'm going to kill him?
Then nobody dies. I hope they get her for murder. And of course, give her the death penalty. That guy paid with his life, and did nothing wrong, so its only fitting that so should she. We really, really need the military roe for all cops of any kind anywhere. You can never fire unless fired on first. If she had always been trained thus, good chance she'd have just figured out she went to the wrong place, apologized, and left. Instead, we get to have some poor bastard die (for the billionth time) and shit tons of civil unrest. Yeah riots, great. All cause we have cops who are so scared shitless they just walk around like this:
