So if I'm going 1 over, and very, very, very slowly passing cars...I'm good in the fast lane?

You get over for cars behind you, period. Then merge back in the fast lane and carry on.

I drive the roads around DFW every day and everywhere else too

Most roads in high traffic areas are 65 or close ..

So, if someone is going 70-72 and passing cars , why would they need to merge out of the way for you , who thinks its ok to go 80-85 ?

And, I daily watch it and most of the time, when traffic stops after your 6 lane changes, you are sitting right next to me .

Or you pull off at same exit and are at the same traffic light ,

Just go a decent speed and be careful to not be in an accident or create one.

You will arrive so close to the same time its pointless to drive like that .

I typically will just cut them off after I pass them. The beauty ones are when they speed up when you do pass them. I really cut them off then, problem is I know it's pointless what I'm doing, they think I'm the idiot.

Everyday I have to switch lanes more than I would like because some inconsiderate person is in the left lane going the speed limit or less. This is everyday, nighttime as well as daytime. I know it's probably hard to enforce but it's annoying.

I ain't reading 3 pages, read the first and did not see the best advice you'll get. The best thing you can do to combat left lane campers is take a deeeeeep breath. (not before pulling the trigger or anything like that either. )

Anyway, the only thing you can do is relax. It's the way things are and regardless of how right/wrong another person is - the only think that will 'teach' the bastards would involve physical stuff - at that point you go to jail.

Take a deep breath, maybe give an attempt to get them over and then just think about anything other then how much that person is pissing you off.

The Best way to change how people drive, starts with the FUCKING PARENTS....
Teach your kids to be more considerate and emphasize that driving is a privalage for everyone... No ONE PERSON owns anything on the hwy....
Ensure they pass the word along to their children....

I remember 20 years ago when people used the left lane to pass only and then moved back over... now its a rae site... on the flip side Texas is still pretty decent compared to AZ, NV, Cali.... pretty much all west coast states sucks ass....

What angers me if when you're passing folks in left lane and someone in the middle lane gets over, then goes the exact same speed they were going before. Fuckers...

On the bike is very different though and I don't know why, but I typically cruise at 80-85 and people are passing me, actually a LOT of people. I first though something was wrong with my speedo, but a couple other buddies mentioned it too.

In the truck though, I normally float at about 70 and I am flying past people.
