I got it about two months ago after getting with a freak off bumble. It fucked me up pretty good for about a week. Work said take two to be sure. I STILL have a fucking cough from it.

I meant the guy from Poison, I don't even know about the other one. Is he a gay porn star?

I finally got it earlier in the summer. All through the outbreak, I never gave two shits about it, didn't wear a mask unless forced, didn't take the vaccines, nothing. Ever single one of my employees got it in the same week, I covered for them and nothing. What finally did me in was coming back from Florida vacation, I got stuck in a car for 12 hours with someone that had it. The whole family got it, vaxxed and unvaxxed alike.

It would come in waves for me, I got body aches day 2, then felt 100% by day 3, then I got fever on day 4, then feel 100% on day 5. Two weeks of various symptoms and I was good. Pretty miserable, but I've been through so very much worse.

And back to the question. During the initial shut down in March '20, I went and bought over a $1k in food and supplies. I always carry several hundred dollars of supplies at all times anyway, so we were basically shut in's until restaurant's started doing car pick-ups for food. We didn't have friends or family over unless they were shut ins too. We went from not knowing anyone that had it to knowing everyone that had it up until last and early this year.

My wife finally got it when we got back from Florida at meeting with people that came in from out of town in July and had that shit. We've been Vax'd so she isolated, and I got lucky that I have not gotten sick with it yet. She went to a docinthebox and she got some kind of antibodies thru an IV and then they prescribed Plaxovid (sp?) for a week, she never got it bad, no fever, just a wet cough and sneezing, it lasted 5-days. She slept and worked from home but stayed in the north wing of the chateau, and she masked up for another 5 days around me.
We have been around people that have came down with it, but we have always managed to avoid getting it.

I also known a few close people that have died from it and people that have gotten really, really sick and barely made it thru. I have not had the flu in over 15 years and then I only got it because my wife had it and I needed a shot of pussy and rolled the dice, that shit fucked me up, but before then I haven't had it sine high school times. I try and be careful and try and keep a distance from most people anyway and it has worked in not getting the flu or da Vid.

We received the original two-dose series because we were working at the Fair Park mega vaccination site when it first opened in January 2021. One of the requirements for doing so is that you receive whatever is being dispensed primarily to lessen the chance of infecting those who came there to get vaccinated. The two boosters I got later were on the advice of my PCP, who I first rely on for medical issues as opposed to Dr. Google or social media platforms.

I would expect to get symptomatic COVID at some point, but we’ll see.
At this point, if you've gotten the original vaccinations or not, if you catch the current variant it's much less potent than the OG versions. I've had multiple over the years and it gets weaker and easier... then again, I'm low risk and otherwise healthy, prepare accordingly.

    This.

I hardly ever get sick, like a cold once every couple years... been living my life as normal, but also never got the shot. I woke up one Saturday back in July with body aches, took my temp and it was 100.9 or something. Went to CVS, got a test, showed positive, whatever. Fever broke like 6 hours later, body aches went away, and 3 days later tested negative. You've more than likely had it and just didn't realize.

But I also know someone who died from it back in 2020... shit's weird.

It's going to be seasonal just like the flu or the common cold (neither of which have ever been 100% protected by a "vaccine"), it will just morph into variants every few months and continue on forever like all the other respiratory viruses out there.

Sidenote: I met your son last weekend, he's a cool dude and that GT500 is sweet!
Yeah, he told me he's neighbors with one of your buds and he met you, we were talking about your Fox for like an hour, lol.

And yes that car is sweet, the fastest stock car I have ever driven was the last ZO6 until I drove his, his car blows that ZO6 out of the water for a stock car.
