I just traded my 2016 SHO in on a ATS-V. Pretty happy with it.

I test drove a 17 ATS-V today to consider for the wife's daily, that little car will flat out get it. Going to be a tough choice between that or a C7.

True about the SS but PPV Caprices are right in that price point. It's the same drivetrain with 4 doors but with heavy duty everything and a cheaper interior. FWPD had a few test mules but buys mostly Chargers now.

I've thought about grabbing one and doing T56 swap on it.

I hate the DSC light in my Z3. I feel like the engine is going to blow when I turn it on just because that bastard is so big and bright. They should have made the switch light up only. She has tried to swap ends on me with the DSC turned off more than once but the tires are not in the upper range. When they wear down a little more it is getting something crazy on it. I mean, I don't drive it 3k a year.
