Depends on what friend it is inviting me. If it's someone i consider a good friend of 15 plus years that I know has had my back in the past, and will continue to do so in the future, then sure I'd leave to join them at another bar, and so would a few others.

dfwstangs and dfwmotorsports seems pretty similar to me. Only difference is one is directed towards stangs and the other is more broad, like ricekiller.

I don't know Jose very well at all or the history of the board, that's why my opinion is from the other side of the room. I'm content here though.

Maybe Jose saw a community beyond the classification of “mustang”, adding the motorcycle/detailing forums (as an example), and the amount of people and even advertisers outside the mustang community.

This is speculation on my part, but I know he’s talked several times about wanting to expand the horizons of what was once a “mustang” board.

BTW, I guarantee that this board will slow down too, regardless of whether or not a new board is created. There has been so much activity because of everything that has been going on. The dust will settle at some point.
