Maybe an original 66 for someone.

So I was out tinkering with my Vette tonight and it was backfiring and making all sorts of noise since it has no mufflers and a hollowed cat I think. So this old woman has a rent house behind me to the left a little bit and she always gives me the stink eye when I am outside if shes over there. So today after making some hella noise driving around the block twice trying to figure out my back fire I look up and she is standing behind my car. Being the nice guy I am I shut it off and start chatting with her. She says "hey you wanna buy an original 66 Mustang". I was like huh were is it at? She said it was in her garage and she was tired of looking at it. She said it was factory blue paint and beige interior. She has no idea what motor but says its all factory. She also had no clue what she wanted for it. She said she would see me around and let me know. I am going to go out in a minute and may hit her up for her address if she is still back there. She is like 70 years old and I was shocked to say the least. She did mention something about a club she was part of so no telling what kinda value she is going to put on it. Any interest???? I will keep you guys informed. I have flipped a few cars in my time but am kinda on a different mission right now and do not have the extra cash unless it is rediculous it is so low. LOL However if it is a good deal I will get some pics and pass it on.....

Whats fucked up is that is remarkably close. LOL I swear everytime I saw her back there she was giving me dirty looks then this just came out of no where. I looked up her other house address and she is not far from me. If I dont see her today I may ease by there one day next week.

I am going by there tonight. I was chatting with her neighbor today that was over working on her fence and he said he thought it was a six cylinder but immaculate. She told me he didnt know anythign about cars. LOL She also told me it was in the garage of a rent house she owned and the renter tried to scam her so she took his Mustang. I guess if its not stolen who ever buys it will need to bond a title. I will get pics and the scoop tonight if I can. Its been stored since 02 so who knows. I was really hopping to go over there and pull the cover back on a fast back. Dammit. She is 91 so who knows.....

How much does she want for it?

I dont want to here a damn thing about the pictures. No lights in the garage and I had to un stack 50 boxes to get to this point. Car was super straight, and the entire underside had been undcoated. Ran the VIN and it was clear last registered in 2000. Had she not ran into it in the garage on the passenger rear quarter it would be a bad ass driver. Not a whole lot of damage but I imagine the paint would be hard to match after all these years. No title either. If it wasnt on flats I coulda got a pic of the bottom. LOL I think she wants to much for it. I think she is wanting around 8k. No dent in the rear and maybeeeeeee but not really. I told her maybe 3 to 4k and she wants to check around. Interior looked really clean also so somebody spent some money on the restore at some point.
