Layne's passing was so sad... no one even checked on him for over 2 weeks. I remember reading about him losing all of his teeth and wearing a ski mask in public out of embarrassment.

Jerry may have written the great songs but there is no mistaking Layne's amazing voice. He even made those Mad Season songs sound good. Plus, he was sexy as hell, even rockin' the heroin chic look.

I don't really care either way but if you ask me that newer song they have out, "Your Decision" sounds like the old AiC. And the black (or whatever) dude who plays the guitar can pull off the vocals of "Would" pretty well, suprisingly enough.

Yep. I was in Seattle a few years ago around the anniversary. They still have a gathering annually.

The more depressing number is that kids who were born the year Cobain died (same date) are in their 2nd year of driving. I think the chick sitting next to me was 2 at the time. Could be an opportunity for a history lesson and mustache ride.
