Debit card spending limit?

Well, I received notice today that as of 07/19/11 they are going to kill the rewards program (Ultimate Rewards) altogether. Any points earned will not expire, but once they're spent it's done. No mention of spending limits in the included letter.

Is this just on debit cards or on the credit cards also?

Got the same letter. no bid deal on the points. now no anual fee for the "rewards" card.

They need to pass it on to credit cards too or allow retailer to pass along the cost of credit card to those people that use them. I don't think i and other Dave Ramsey peeps need to pay for other people's reward programs.

What is the point in capping off debit cards to $50 or even $100? You can barely buy gas with that much now or grcoery shopping.

You'll have to make more transactions, thus more "little" fees.
