I'm looking at the pics trying to figure out what happened. Looks like the two Mustangs hit head on...but I don't get the street sweeper...

Racing, then blind corner, street sweeper appears. I'd figure they'd jump the median instead of rear ending the thing or whatever.

Drinking and driving was the first mistake. It was a recipe for disaster after that.

Sad that it killed someone completely innocent in the whole deal.

A few years back there was a similar incident on Green Oaks in Arlington where one of the guys racing got killed, I had just moved there and turned on the news to find out they were looking for a white male in his 20's driving a gray 99-04 GT which was a perfect description of me and I lived on Greenoaks.

I drive that rout from ElDerado, up Lake Forest to 121 every morning...wondered why it was blocked off today. No blind corners there. Happened right at the Wal-Mart, looks like. I don't get how it went down or how they hit the street sweeper hard enough to knock it over unless the street sweeper was turning into Wal-Mart from the other direction and almost made it before they both taged it.

How did the driver of the V6 survive??? Oh that's right...drunk people always walk away! Hope it was worth it!

Yrs ago we did some testing on that rd. as we had a shop near there. No racing just test n tune, on and off it. It is way to busy these days to be playing out there now. This was close to 10 yrs ago when we used it.
