    i have already googled this, to no avail...

    surely there are companies that need people to join the relief effort in japan, with pay. how do i locate these companies?

    and i don't mean me donating money. i mean me going to japan and working there until the relief effort has been completed...

      I looked into it as well. All the info I read said unless you're pretty much a certified EMT that speaks Japanese, don't even bother trying.

                              you hit it right on the head. but, if i can get a payday, contribute to the cleanup/rebuild, and gain some life experience, what is wrong with that?
