I will see your "obstensibly" and raise you the fact that most people on this board are obdurate.

How many homies have a Porsche Cayenne that the wheels will fit on??? That's a much smaller market than a GM product.Originally posted by txsr20de View PostThis.
My parent's next door neighbor drives a $106k Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and it gets parked in the driveway every night. Seems pretty stupid to me.

I'm going to give you a +10 for this post, solely because I'm certain it is the first time the word "Ostensibly" has ever been used on this, or the old board.

Here in the boonies I couldn't find a garage big enough for my F250 to fit in at any house we looked at. So she stays outside. But no one steals the old 16's so I am safe.

Anyways...OP - Sucks about the truck. Invest in some better security lighting around your home. And maybe a home security camera.

Yep its 100% his fault!Originally posted by Dave View PostIf you bought a car that doesn't fit in your garage....you have other issues to address besides thieves.
Yes I know about these little piss-ant garages on new homes, it's stupid. For me, it was a deal breaker for the house or the car if they didn't fit. I would take measurements and even test fit, because it was ver important to me.
So your garage is already full with cars? Shit man I guess it's time to upgrade to a three car garage home, or dig a moat and fill it with sharks with friggin laser beams on their heads. I have had my share of thieves, and I will take every step to not be a victim again.

even if it wasnt full with the wifes car, and the vert, my truck doesnt fit into the garage. when i bought the house i drove a wrangler and a TL1000R and everything was locked up every night. Its no longer an option. Hence the hatavision.
EDIT: i cant get the damn pics to work. i hate being retarded.
god bless.

Yeah, even with traditional tools in a garage there are at least 2 ways to get them off that I'm aware of....Originally posted by Grimpala View PostYou of all people should know how ineffective a wheel lock is. You can buy keys and tools to get them off all over the place. Hell it took me all of 5 min to get the locks off my Impala when I lost the key using an old deep socket.
..I still use them for anything that would be nice, but I don't put any faith in them. Unless they were to transform into something that beat the snot out of someone stealing my wheels - they are basically pointless.
