They probably swapped the plates on it with another similar vehicle they owned. Not exactly sure how they got away with it that long!

Since then two more cars have been stolen and half a dozen broken into, on the same parking lot. The property owners should be held somewhat accountable, but it's up to individual diligence.

If a thief wants it, they will take it. Yelling at the manager will do nothing.Originally posted by Dave View PostThe fuck is going on in this thread?
They disconnected the onstar immediately. The police tried that route, but it was 2.5 hours after it was stolen. Too late. We'll never see it again.
The issue is with her employer's parking. I will personally visit the building manager and give him a piece of my mind. He still hasn't notified the tenants of the theft! WTF? It's total bullshit that this could happen on a private lot in broad daylight. How would you feel knowing your car isn't safe? Your mom could be in danger.....in fucking Frisco! Bullshit. She's going to buy the ugliest, loudest, oil leaking, smoke touting shitbox to park there from now on.

can you pm me where it was stolen? i live in frisco, and would like a heads up where this shitty lot is so i dont leave my car there.Originally posted by Dave View PostIt's a large corporate plaza in the heart of Frisco without any security. Prabably just opportunists. People think they're shit is safe on that part of town. It isn't.

How is it the property owners fault? They didnt ask the thieves to come on private property to steal the truck, much less commit the crime. If someone wants your shit, they're going to get it regardless of how "safe" it is.Originally posted by Dave View PostI do, they're called donuts.
