Well that was annoying. Night before I was to fly out, they canceled due to lack of funds.

Usually they let me know an itinerary a week before I fly. This time I had nothing. I had to call in to find out and they said "Sorry, our budget was cut so we couldn't fly you out." Thanks for letting me know

Las Vegas isn't one of my most favorite places in the world, especially in the middle of the summer. But it's worth it to go see my brother and his kids.

Ah, what part of the state is his family from? I've got family all over Cali. I was born in West L.A, raised all over southern California, Escondido, San Diego, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Westminister, Long Beach, Lakewood, Hollywood, Buena Park, Costa Mesa are just the ones off the top of my head I can remember. We moved ALOT. lol.

They are in the Riverside, Redlands area now but he has a similar history. I recognize several of those names from him talking about where they've lived. lol

My aunt and uncle live in Yorba Linda now, but lived in Santa Ana when I was a kid...small world.

The last time I was back home, I couldn't believe how much it had changed, so much more crowded now than it used to be and that was pretty bad.

My kid brother was paying $1400 a month for a shit apartment off of the 405 that would be considered the ghetto here paying 400 a month.

The only thing I miss about home is the real mexican food and the beach. That's it.
