I'm not as much of a sciencist guy as you, but I can tell you that matter isn't being created or destroyed, and energy isn't being created or destroyed. It's just changing form.

What he is saying, for it to perform as the article is TRYING to portray, energy would have to be created out of thin air.

All this is just a method of electrolysis to separate the hydrogen and oxygen molecules of water and burn the products to produce electricity.

All the processes involved are strictly CHEMICAL in nature.

Stevo, in your third post, you say something about matter being created and destroyed. By that "leaf" producing electricity, it isn't creating or destroying matter. Matter goes down to the atomic level. Matter in this case would be the Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms. What this "leaf" is doing, is breaking the H2O, which in this case, is 2 parts hydrogen and one part water, It is harnessing the energy given off by splitting up, or breaking the bonds, in the water. There is no creation of new matter, or destruction of existing matter. It is simply being returned to a more simple state

It's also synthetic. It says it processes shit more efficiently than real leaves.
