I did look up some sales and inventory data but Audi doesn't break it down past A8/S8. There were 277 A8/S8s available in the report and then crossing checking Autotrader it appears those 277 are all the A8 varieties.

They did bring up inventory of A8/S8s last month (58 in Sept vs. 277 in October) but it appears they are all the A8 varieties or the S8s were factory orders.

Maybe 30% of KBB trade, and that depend on if the person bidding on it needed the drivetrain for something else. There aren't any of these cars available anywhere so getting an accurate price would be difficult. The closest thing I can find is an 06 A8 and it's nearly $9000 but is buildable.

I'm a VW tech and know quite a bit about these cars as I have worked a a few and they share the same platform as the pheaton except for the all alum thing....... car is done, see ya later, you dont want it back, get some thing else. Even if it goes to the repair place in austin, no matter what, the car will always have electrical issues that will haunt it forever!

Yup. That car will never be the same. I'd get rid of it for whatever I could.
