Seems like a lot of work, Id have just swapped out the inners.

wait, sn95 length are metric, the fox length are standard. You have the ability to compensate for that?

The SN95 is metric. This rack is SN95 length with SAE 9/16"-18 threaded inner rod ends. I already had the bumpsteer kit for the SN95 (metric on the inside and standard 5/8" at the heim joint). When I ordered the new rack from MM they sold me just the sleeves to use with my old heim joints and tie rod end set (spacers and through bolt, etc).

The new rack doesn't have a jam nut to lock in the sleeve and the nut from the old rack is metric. I could take the new and old racks apart and swap the inner rods or I can spend 1.90 and buy two nuts from ACE Hardware.

In the photo above you can see the black aluminum sleeves attached to the heims. The old one was blue.

          Oh. Yes.

I was a little perturbed that the new rack didn't have the .96 nuts though.

          • Rack is in. Steering wheel is straight. Wheels look straight but I will put them on blocks and measure the toe.

Vacuum pump is in and plumbed. Just need to mount the catch can.

I've got a few hours of buttoning up work and she will be dyno ready.

                        • Bitch fires right up. I need to run out the shit fuel, fill her up with 93, get a good alignment done to finish setting the toe and she can hit the dyno.
