I am taking a little break. Might be 3 weeks before I get back on it. The cluster is out while autometer repairs the oil temp gauge. When it comes back I will get it back together and then it is dyno/tune time.

Mufflers are finally moved back and on the car.


Had a little battle with Autometer over the bad oil temp gauge. The resolved it and sent me a new replacement last week. Into the cluster it went within an hour from hitting my doorstep. Cluster followed onto the dash and that is all done.

I had been knocking out minor wiring issues and other stuff that I had been putting off. Speedo wired to the vss. Reverse light switch has power and it is wired to the reverse lights now. Car has fog lights again for the first time in 7 years. Only took me making a short bracket on each side since the original bumper is no more. Nailed the placement perfectly on both sides in the first attempt. Was even able to fish them in place without pulling the bumper cover. Then swapped the bulbs over to and LED conversion to match the rest of the front lights.

I am waiting on getting it to James this week for the tune.

Well, we are discussing getting a meth kit on at the last minute so we can hit those bigger numbers on 93oct.

Yep. Got too troublesome to deal with. I want to drive this thing on cruises and e85 stations are not convenient. That and with how long it sits, e85 kills parts. I dropped down to 83lb Holley injectors.

Just ordered the meth kit. Unfortunately it won't be in until later next week so I am going to have to wait to install and subsequently wait for the tune...unless he wants to tune it to give me something to drive and stay out of needing-meth territory.
