Hey Gumby you run your car yet after the rear fix?

nope waiting for the cruise been having trouble keeping the plugs from fouling so i need to play with the timing or my jets are to big. But funny story tanner and i where setting the timing and i was loosing the bolt and my finger got caught in the belt and rolled around the power steering pump fucking hurt! lol

Curious to know if the wheel hop deal got fixed, took my car to track saturday and it wheel hopped so bad i was only able to go 9.40 with a 1st and half a 2nd gear pull. Put air in bag in coils and it made it worse. ???

i haven't fixed it yet haven't had to money to do anything right now so been holding off on it. but i did notice that it only does it on certain roads if that makes a differences.

What setup you runnin on the rear? Control Arms?

shocks and stiffer bushings!

The Competition Engineering 3- ways are $40 new in jegs. They adjust 30/70 40/60 and 50/50 wich is good because you can adjust them just stiff enuff to stop the hopping. The 40/60 setting should do it and is not as stiff as the 50/50 setting which is a little hard on the nuts if you drive alot! Stock rubber bushings suck also run a good poly bushing. I run the CE shocks on 50/50 setting no quad shocks with solid aluminum bushings and get no hop at all. The reason it will hop more on certain roads is because the harder the tires bite (better road) the worse the hop.Good luck and i dig the coupe!

Which ones did you decide to go with? I think the new control arms and bag I just got should fix my heap from hopping when it gets going, wheel hop was horrible on mine when it was runnin without the mods its gonna have now so i can imagine with the new mods!! What control arms you runnin?
