In Texas, how many incomplete monitors to pass inspection?

In the morning when its cold go drive 6 miles at 35 mph on the speedo and then 6 miles at 65 mph you have to be exact on the speed but you can do 5-8 miles and usually that will get the incompletes to go through the drive cycle.

Thanks for your input. I am going to try to get this guy to hook it up to the state inspection machine first. It will pass, I am sure of that. Been to 3 different inspection places that confirm this, along with you guys and your statements.

that doesnt make sense. you are saying 01 is 2 incompletes on one statement, then on the next statement you said 01 is 1 incomplete. But his is an 08 so it doesnt matter.

and SSman if they give you a print out on why it failed I can give you a number to call to complain. But if there are no codes and 1 incomplete it will pass.

Too bad he's only sertified. If he was certified, he might've been able to actually contribute to this thread.

Ok, took it back by there this morning and told him politely to hook it up to the machine, not the scanner. Little prick had a little attitude saying over and over that if the computer says no, I can't pass it. I said " just put it on the machine , it will pass. Trust me you will learn something today". The manager was there too and he is a certified (sertified to lapers) inspection guru too. He asked what the problem was, So i told him that his inspection guy simply does not know all the details of his job. I said he keeps failing my car with one incomplete when I know it will pass. He said yep, it will pass.

Low and behold it fucking passed.

If he failed you and charged you money for the fail without hooking it up to the machine you need to report him! NOT legal and he can have his certifcation yanked for it.
