A lot of Fel-Pro 302 intake gaskets now have rubber end seals now with lips on each side that keep them from squeezing out. I've used them on my 90 with no problems, but on the 351w in my 68 they all seem to still come with cork end seals, which I throw in the trash and use silicone instead also with no problems.68 Coupe- 351w, TFS heads, Comp XE284, 5 speed, Explorer 8.8, 4 Wheel Discs

Intake is clean, valve cover and heads are clean.Originally posted by Vertnut View Postvalve cover/intake gaskets.
I'm thinking it was oil coming from the flywheel bolts without thread sealant.
The outside of the Bell housing is clean too.
