  • where to buy a single piston from?

    looking for just a single piston. its a Federal-Mogul/speed pro piston
    pn: l2249nf
    can anyone local get this. summit nor jegs has it and the place that has them only sell in sets.

    Have your tried PAW peformance automotive warehouse. Or have a machine shop call EPWi in Dallas and see if they have it.

              I used to buy a lot of engine and suspension parts from Northern Auto parts in Iowa. They show that piston as special order, you might see what they could do.

                I called abc parts and they had the piston. I'll have it tuesday.

                    So abc said they had them but now after calling they are obsolete. Gonna call a machine shop. Anyother place someone knows to get them?

                      i am in the same boat. need one L2456F and one 2446F. Speedpro said they might make another run of them and might not. Dont hold your breath. It sucks having seven good ones of each and not be able to make a full set of either.
