I have an 89 gt with a qa1 tubular k member my steering shaft seems to be too short now. Has anybody ran into this? What is the fix for this? If I buy a flaming river rack and shaft will I have the same issue?

I have an AJE k member and the stock steering shaft is too short. My flaming river shaft came in today and you adjust it to how ever long you need. It has set screws and you dimple the shaft with 1/4" bit to where ever you need the length to be.

They are tight sometimes. Use a prybar and it will slide out but a fr setup is the way to go especially if you have long tubes.
