  • 06 Navigator brake shudder, revisited

Still having brake shudder during all braking on a 2006 navigator 4x2. The front rotors have been replaced with slotted and dimpled EBC's, and EBC green stuff pads, no change. While braking, you can feel the pedal move up and down, making me think that it has something to do with faulty ABS sensors etc. If anyone knows about these issues, please chime in.

    Thanks

Rears have been checked, no problem with the. Pads were replaced and rotors are fine. It is definitely not a mechanical problem, rather an electronic, I believe, could be wrong. The pedal jitters up and down, like the abs is always on.

No abs light on. Is there a place that anyone or you can recommend close to Keller, or is the dealer my best option?

          Thanks

I would check runout of all the rotors on both sides.

New part doesn't mean good part.

Check them all for lateral run out.

Guys, I'm not trying to be thick headed, but the rotors are not warped!!! Originals had been turned twice and no change, with brand new rotors, no change! The pedal jitters back and forth just like when the abs comes on, also. There are not hot spots on the rotors, and the pads are all new too.

New rotors can still be warped.
