I don't know if there is a gearing difference or if one is more durable than the other. Which is reccomended for a 2v blower application?

i have a 00'gt that has been blown since it was new and still has the stock t-45 in it (86k miles). the motor failed before the t-45. it's all about the clutch and driving habbits. if i had the money i'd go with a built 4r70w, but i'll probably just get the promotion t-45 and get a clutch from them to match my application. it's supposed to be good for 700hp. they will also build a t-45 or 3650 for 1k that will hold 400hp, but my stocker is doing that just fine.Originally posted by TEAMJACOB View PostI don't know if there is a gearing difference or if one is more durable than the other. Its pretty much a wash between the two. Each have their strengths and each have their weakness.

Fuck so on the way home my clutch let go. I've been limping the tranny along for several months since hurting it at the track and now with no clutch, I'm forced to get it fixed now even though I was trying to wait till I can my fox back from the shop.
Anyway, its going in the shop tommorrow and I have to get it back asap because this is my daily so I want to make sure I get it right. I did some research, and from what I found is if I look at my door sticker under "tr" if there is a "k" then I have a 3650.

I found one on craigslist but I'm not sure how to identify the tranny when I pick it up. Will a t45 or 3650 both work on my 2001 with no mods or changes and just bolt right up? Even though my car according to what I found above, says I need a 3650? If it does matter one way or another, how do I identify the tranny when I go pick it up?
Thanks
