Any red flags? Fair price? 93 lx 5.0

It's a northern car, which might be a small concern. $12k is a lot of money right now in this economic climate. Non-forged pistons on the '93, correct? I'm sure it's very clean, and it may take that to build one, but for that kind of money, there are all kinds of options.

As much as I hate the crap out of that site, it would be the best bet to buy a nice Mustang.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostI always check the Corral, even though I don't need another money pit. If you're patient, there's a lot of nice cars out there.
I'll probably list the Cobra on there when the time comes.

I never post. It's a slow moving POS, but there's a ton of traffic for buyers/sellers, and I've seen some damn clean cars there. Buying locally is the way to go if possible, but a 10-12 hour drive for the right car is not too bad.Originally posted by Denny View PostAs much as I hate the crap out of that site, it would be the best bet to buy a nice Mustang.

anyone know this local cobra?
I like the price on this one, but the bubbles and coil that was hacked concern me a bit.

Between the two, I'd go with the local car. It's easier to trace back the history (and it's a VERY clean car), and that Houston car raises a couple of flags. Tags missing on body parts and the engine being removed for a "repaint" scares me some. The lowered front end looks like ass (to me) and it was not done correctly. I'm not usually an anal prick, but this guy wants top dollar, so the car should justify it.
edit* Also, why has that car not sold? Houston is a huge market. Just makes you wonder.

I wonder about that. Most of the time, I think a seller can do better than Ebay, not to mention the hassle and the commission involved.Originally posted by talisman View PostI"m listing my 1993 Cobra on Craigslist, if it doesn't sale I'll list it on E-Bay.
Not even saying anything about sell/sale usage, but I love it when people "threaten" to put their car on ebay if you don't hurry up and buy it. Oh noez!!
