OK OK OK. I have decided to drive it hard a couple times and get it up to like 6k rpm for now.

Another question....should I wait until I get the first oil change to remove all the ring and cylinder bits or go crazy now and THEN get my oil changed?????

Nope. New aluminum block but they polished my heads when they machined them.

rings don't seat if you are being a pussy. cylinder pressure behind the ring drives it into the cylinder wall

This is most likely the funniest thing you will ever say!!

After that it doesn't matter. I alway run a fresh motor long enough to make sure there are no leaks and then I take it out and leave it in first gear, hammer on it and let off an let then engine compression brake it self this really puts load on the rings and seats them in. Do this three or four times, let it cool and change the oil. After that its fair game.

he does have a valid question, however, I would listen to the person who provides the warranty. When I build an engine, and I know what clearances i am dealing with, I change the oil after just a short time in the garage and setting vitals, then beat the hell out of it.

Water can exist in all three states simultaneously.
