99-04 Mustang GT Spark plug thread repair kit?

Has anyone had any luck with this kit to repair stripped threads in a mustang head?

Or is there a recommended helicoil repair kit?

The one at auto zone requires a 3/4" socket which is too large to go in the hole in the head.

Advice asap please

That looks like it's for a 3v.

I had to repair #3 on my 04 GT, I used a kit similar to this one. http://www.wayfair.com/Mountain-Spar...d=FR49-IDT1228

It was exactly like that kit but a different brand. What I like about it is that it has a guide to make sure you're drilling the threads out square, and it also has nice steel inserts that have a conical seat on the top for the spark plug to seat into, much like the original taper for the plug in the head.

I did back in February and haven't had any problems with it yet.
