What is this plug for??

This plug/harness is hanging down below the w/s washer tank. It has a cap/plug plugged into the end. Anybody know what it does? Cleaning up engine bay and removing anything i don't need.

no, there is a plug on the headlight harness for fog lights along with the other lights. This is pretty large with several wires

Diagnostics connector maybe? I remember seeing that plug on mine before I ripped all the wiring out and installed the painless harness.

Might have to trace the wires and see where they go, then find a wiring diagram.

Thanks Z06er, but I have looked at those images, and this plug is not displayed. I think it is part of the dashwiring harness. From an ebay ad image I can see the same plug at the end of the harness.

Woww after going thru all the images on the site Z06er posted, I finally found it. Its the daytime running light module.
