Gotta love em. Now here is a question before I try it. What if they "thought" they knew what they were doing cause they read it on the Internet and just swapped wires with out swapping cams. Would it still run or no with 2 cylinders being off?
Just wondering if I should bother trying to swap wires And see what happens. This is a semi daily driver for me right now so I can't really afford to jack it up.
Thanks again for any and all help and insight any one has!!!86 SVO

It will run, but you should expect backfiring through the carb or popping in the exhaust. Acceleration will feel choppy.
The swap was done after someone noticed how the pulses of the air/fuel mixture travels in the runners of the intake. Do you know what heads are on the motor? Chevy made a few decent sets of iron heads.
