  • Gt40 act sensor.

So I'm at the point of drilling my lower for the act sensor and everywhere I read it says 9/16 drill bit and a 3/8 pipe tap. Is a 3/8 pipe tap somehow bigger than a 9/16 drill bit? Am I incorrect on the sizes?

I just installed GT40 heads and an explorer intake and I just plugged the ACT in and set it on the intake (didn't drill it, just sitting by the fuel rail). No check engine light and the car idles and runs just fine. Just an FYI.

but you dont get a true temp there, therefore the ecm cant adjust accurately
